Moto Hope Capital (MHC) was represented by Mr. Vincent Njuguna-MD at the 2017 Slush Global Impact Accelerator Competition at the iHub!
We were among the ten Kenyan startups that were shortlisted -from the hundreds of applicants- to pitch at the Slush GIA local Event on 17th August 2017. Slush Global Impact Accelerator (GIA) is a program created in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and other multiple partners globally. It purposes to support impact-driven startups and showcase exciting business opportunities in emerging markets, which are also vital for implementing Agenda 2030 and solving complex challenges.
In addition, the program focuses on strengthening the networks between the impact actors, engaging the Nordic community with the global impact entrepreneurs, and enhancing the mobilization of capital towards impactful business. We were shortlisted because We possess a vision to solve pressing challenges globally, Our business idea has gained traction despite being in its early phase, our solutions support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we have the skills and drive to succeed and the potential to scale and have working prototypes.
We in turn enjoyed:
