Moto Hope Capital was proud to participate in the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Quarterly Meeting and Forum held on 1st December 2025 in Nairobi, hosted by UN Women Kenya and the Global Compact Network Kenya (GCNK). Our Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Dennis Thuita Mwangi, represented the organization at this important convening.

This year’s theme — “From Policy to Practice: Catalyzing Women’s Economic Empowerment in Kenya’s Markets” — brought together leaders from the private sector, government, civil society, and a dynamic community of women entrepreneurs. The discussions centered on actionable strategies to advance gender equality and deepen women’s economic participation across sectors.

Key conversations highlighted the importance of valuing the care economy, reducing unpaid care work, and strengthening women’s roles across value chains through mentorship, capacity building, networking opportunities, and enhanced market access.

Moto Hope Capital reiterated its dedication to 50/50 gender representation and to empowering women entrepreneurs to harness local resources, adopt impactful technologies, and grow sustainably. We remain committed to championing gender equality — not only as a social priority but also as a critical driver of Kenya’s long-term economic prosperity.
